It seems all of the manufacturers in IMSA’s GTP class are bringing updates to their cars for the 2025 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Porsche Penske Motorsport driver Felipe Nasr says it’s proof of the class getting stronger and stronger as it evolves.

“I like the way, I like the direction we’re going in within all manufacturers and the series getting stronger.

“And if you look back already to the end of last year, you could see that all the manufacturers also having their chances of winning races or getting pole positions.

“So, everybody’s in the mix, really, and we get to Daytona, as long as we prepare everything, we’ve done most of our homework, we have another chance this weekend at The Roar (Before The 24) to get more running, more understanding on the car.

“But I feel the competition, for sure, is going to be even higher this year across all manufacturers, absolutely.”
